We have a number applications and filters in place that check for Known “invalid”  Senders, Bad links and/or infected attachments.

If an email gets through our standard protections YOU are the best line of defense for yourself and the company.

Use your KnowB4 training to review the Sender, the email as well as links and/or attachments and ask yourself:

Is this an unsolicited email ?  Do you know the Sender? Do you see any obvious spelling errors in the address or domain,
Is there a sense of urgency, demanding immediate action

Is the email regarding a subject you’ve already discussed?

If you can’t confirm those things, the next course of action is to contact the sender using a known email / phone number to confirm what they sent.

Thank you for being a partner to keep your company secure.
