INTUNE/Endpoint Manager: How to Create an Enrollment Profile for iPads

Document Overview/Purpose:

This document walks you through the creation of an iPad enrollment profile. The enrollment profile grabs the device from the Apple Business Manager and associates it with our MDM.

Process and Procedures:

1. Sign into Intune and select Devices in the left-hand Column & then select IOS/iPadOS in the devices column>

2. Step 2 Click the iOS/iPadOS enrollment option and then click the "enrollment program tokens" button. 

3. Select MS Endpoint Manager. 

4. Click on "Profiles"

5. Click "Create profile" and then select iOS/iPadOS 

6. To bypass company portal we use "Enroll without User Affinity"

7.  Copy the settings seen below. Then click "Next" at the bottom of the page.

8.  Fill out the Setup Assistant. Please use the recommended settings below.

9. Review the settings and verify all are correct. Then click create.

Verification of Success:

You can now search your new enrollment profile in the enrollment program token tab as seen in step 3.

Glossary and Acronyms (If Applicable):

MDM: Mobile Device Manager

Program Token: The token that associates our ABM account with our MDM

Enrollment Profile: Applies a managed device with specific apps, configurations, policies, etc.
